EV charging built for how your site actually works
A highway charge point and an office car park charge point solve different problems. We assess the site, the duty cycle and the electrical supply you already have before specifying anything.
Workplace & Office Charging
Charge points for employee and visitor parking.
- Typical setup
- AC 7.4–22 kW, Type 2, with optional load management
The problem
Staff are switching to EVs faster than employers expected, and asking for charging at work. Most facilities teams have no view of what it costs, how much load it adds, or who looks after the equipment afterwards.
What BizliPoint supplies
BizliPoint assesses the electrical capacity at your site, specifies a charge point mix matched to how long cars actually sit in the car park, installs and commissions it, and services it under a maintenance contract.
What this is designed to do
- Charger mix matched to a full working day of parking, not fast turnover
- Load assessed before anything is committed
- Access can be restricted to staff, or opened to visitors
Commercial Property & Retail
Charging as a visitor amenity for malls, parks and offices.
- Typical setup
- AC 22 kW with DC 30–60 kW where turnover is faster
The problem
EV drivers increasingly choose where to shop, eat and park by whether they can charge there. For a property owner, that is a reason to act — but installing and running chargers sits well outside the core business.
What BizliPoint supplies
BizliPoint supplies and installs the charge points, connects them to a charging network platform so visitors can pay directly, and maintains the equipment. You get the amenity without building an operations function for it.
What this is designed to do
- Charging amenity without an in-house operations team
- Charge point mix matched to real visitor dwell time
- Equipment maintained under contract rather than ad hoc
Commercial Fleet & Depot Charging
Depot charging planned around duty cycles and shift patterns.
- Typical setup
- DC 30–240 kW, CCS2, often with dynamic load sharing
The problem
Commercial EV operators — last-mile delivery, cab fleets, logistics — lose earning hours to charging. Public chargers are built for occasional use and are rarely free when a fleet needs them.
What BizliPoint supplies
BizliPoint sizes depot charging around your routes and shift patterns, supplies and installs the equipment, and supports it in service. Where vehicles charge away from base, that is planned alongside the depot.
What this is designed to do
- Capacity sized from real duty cycles, not averages
- Load management so a depot upgrade is not always necessary
- Maintenance arrangements suited to vehicles that cannot wait
Housing Societies & Residential
Shared or allocated charging for residents.
- Typical setup
- AC 3.3–7.4 kW per bay, or shared 22 kW points
The problem
Residents are buying EVs and running extension leads from flats. Committees are left deciding how to provide charging fairly, how to meter it, and how to avoid overloading a supply that was never designed for it.
What BizliPoint supplies
BizliPoint assesses what the society supply can carry, specifies shared or bay-allocated charge points with per-user metering, installs them, and services the equipment under contract.
What this is designed to do
- Usage attributable to individual residents
- Load management to work within the existing supply where possible
- Shared or allocated bays, depending on how the society wants to run it
Hotels, Resorts & Restaurants
Charging that gives guests a reason to choose you.
- Typical setup
- AC 7.4–22 kW for overnight, DC 30–60 kW for day visitors
The problem
Guests arriving on a long drive want to leave with a full battery. Venues without charging are quietly losing those bookings to ones that have it.
What BizliPoint supplies
BizliPoint supplies and installs charge points sized to overnight or mealtime stays, connects them for guest payment or complimentary use, and maintains them.
What this is designed to do
- Overnight AC charging, or faster DC for shorter visits
- Guest-paid or complimentary access, as you prefer
- Equipment kept in service under a maintenance contract
Highway & Fuel Station Charging
Fast charging for forecourts and intercity stops.
- Typical setup
- DC 60–240 kW, CCS2, multi-gun configurations
The problem
Intercity EV travel depends on a thin chain of fast chargers, and forecourt operators can see fuel volumes beginning to shift. The question is what to install, and whether the site supply can carry it.
What BizliPoint supplies
BizliPoint specifies and installs DC fast charging sized to the supply available, handles the connection work, and operates and maintains the equipment. Sites with amenities and safe round-the-clock access make the strongest candidates.
What this is designed to do
- DC fast charging specified around the supply you actually have
- Connection and upgrade work coordinated as part of the project
- Suited to forecourts, highway stops and transport corridors
Our chargers
Three classes of equipment, specified per site
Which one is right comes down to two things: how long vehicles are parked, and what your electrical supply can carry. Both are settled at the site survey.
AC Charging
7.4 – 22 kWSites where vehicles are parked for an hour or more — the majority of workplace, residential and destination charging.
- Connectors
- Type 2
Typically specified for
- Workplaces
- Hotels
- Malls & retail
- Housing societies
- Single or dual charging gun
- App and RFID access
- Touchscreen interface
- OCPP-compliant network integration
- Outdoor-rated IP55 enclosure
- Load management options
DC Fast Charging
30 – 240 kWSites where a usable charge is needed in a short stop — public charging, highway corridors and commercial fleets.
- Connectors
- CCS2
Typically specified for
- Fuel stations
- Highway stops
- Fleet depots
- Public sites
- Multiple charging gun configurations
- App and RFID access
- LCD touch display and cable management
- OCPP-compliant network integration
- Dynamic load sharing available
- Upgradable power modules
Smart AC Sockets
3.3 kW per socketTwo- and three-wheeler charging, and long-dwell parking where drivers bring their own cable.
- Connectors
- 3-pin (IEC 60309)
Typically specified for
- Housing societies
- Parking bays
- Two-wheeler fleets
- Dual-socket design
- Bring-your-own-cable compatible
- Tap-and-charge access
- Inbuilt protection with isolated MCB
- Splash-proof outdoor design
- Per-socket usage metering
How it works
From an enquiry to a charger that works
Most of the work happens before anything is installed. The site survey is what turns a rough idea into a specification and a price — which is why we do not quote before one.
- Step 01
Tell us about the site
Where it is, what happens there, roughly how long vehicles stay, and what you already know about the electrical supply. A few lines is enough to start.
- Step 02
Site survey and load assessment
What the existing supply can carry, what an upgrade would involve, where charge points can physically go, and how cabling would be routed.
- Step 03
Specification and quotation
A charge point mix matched to the site, with the equipment, installation work and maintenance options set out separately so you can see what each part costs.
- Step 04
Installation and commissioning
Civil and electrical work, charger installation, protection and earthing, testing, and connection to the charging network platform.
- Step 05
Handover, operation and maintenance
Operator training and handover, then ongoing operation and servicing under whichever maintenance arrangement you choose.
Quotes follow the survey, not the other way round. Equipment is the predictable part of a charging project. The electrical work and any supply upgrade are not, and they are usually the larger number — so a price quoted before anyone has looked at your site is a guess.
Not sure which applies?
Describe the site, and the right option usually becomes obvious
You do not need to know whether you want AC or DC, or how many charge points. The location, what happens there and roughly how long vehicles stay is enough to work from.
Let's get a charge point earning for you.
Whether you are investing and need a location, already have a site, or have land to offer — tell us which, and we can take it from there.
